The Café Rose

The café functions like any other café, with a variety of meals, a daily special and pensioner’s dinners.  The staff are all voluntary with a mixture of members of the congregation and trainees sent from social services.  It’s a great place for those who haven’t worked for a period of time, to ease their way back into the workplace.

The vision of the café is of a non-profit making outreach, a place where the community can come into and feel relaxed and even though it’s a Church run outreach, it’s not a threat to anyone's personal religious views.

It’s a very natural way of making contacts and being made aware of peoples needs.  In fact this was one of the reasons the “Prayer Clinic” was started.

We praise God for it’s success as a method to reach people, everyone knows it’s a non-profit making concern, although many agree that the real profit is to see people happy, content and above all to come to the Saviour, Jesus Christ.
