Opendoor Bible School Ministry Team
Pastor Trevor Clarke
Opendoor Bible School was formed out of an evening school held once a
week for three years. The idea of that evening school was brought to
Pastor Trevor and he envisioned and encouraged it. He has pastored with
his wife Sandra since 1990 and is currently the senior Pastor of Carrickfergus
Community Church. As he holds a bachelor of Divinity he knows the
necessity of a sound Bible teaching and Discipleship, flowing with a
Spirit-filled anointing.
Pastor Lynn Duff
Pastor Lynn is the senior youth Pastor and has been the full time youth worker
of Carrickfergus Community Church since 1993; she is also the visionary behind
eXtreme Life. Pastor Lynn's heart is to see young people trained and
released into ministry and through establishing various discipleship and
training programmes, the Church has seen many young men and women move into
their gifting and begin to reach for their potential in God.
Pastor Darren Jennings
Pastor Darren and his wife Suzanne, have been Pastors of the junior youth in
Carrickfergus Community Church since 2004. He has been through
discipleship and ministry training with Pastor Lynn and serves as part of the
youth ministry team. Pastor Darren is an excellent Preacher and Bible
Teacher and he compliments the full time lectures perfectly.
Guest Ministry
Throughout the year, various teachers and speakers from the UK and abroad will join with the Opendoor Bible School staff to teach parts of the eXtreme Life programme. The speakers will be people with giftings and insight into particular subjects that we feel will benefit the students and enhance out programme.
A small percentage of the teachings will come via media teaching. These will be selected for their quality of subjects and standards of excellence.
A full list of Guest Ministry will be available closer to the beginning of the school year.
All Guest Ministry are well aware of the importance of the local Church and the need to train and equip students to strengthen their home Church.
