Faith Statement

We believe in one GOD, the FATHER, the ALMIGHTY, maker of  heaven and earth, of all seen and unseen, and in the eternal Godhead who has revealed HIMSELF as one GOD manifest in the FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT, distinguishable but indivisible. DEUT 6:4, ISAIAH 45:22, GAL 3:20.

We believe in one LORD, JESUS CHRIST, the only SON of GOD. Through HIM all things were made. For us men and for our salvation HE came down from heaven; by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT HE was born of a virgin, and became man. For our sake HE was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died and was buried. On the third day HE rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures; HE ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the FATHER. HE will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and HIS kingdom will have no end. GAL 3:20, EPH 4:6, 2 COR 1:3, MATT 1:23, LUKE 24:6,7.

We believe in the Divine Inspired written Word of GOD, The Holy Scriptures, the accepted Cannon of Scriptures, as being the infallibly supreme authority on all matters of faith and conduct. 2 TIM 3:16, MATT 24:35.

We believe in the HOLY SPIRIT who proceeds from the FATHER and the SON and who is our Helper and Comforter, who abides with us forever, even the SPIRIT of truth who teaches us all things and brings to our remembrance, all the words of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Also in the present work of the HOLY SPIRIT to convict men and women of their sin and their great need of salvation through the LORD JESUS CHRIST, to be reconciled to the FATHER, GOD ETERNAL. JOHN 4:23, JOHN 14:26.

We Believe in the one Holy Universal Church which is the body of CHRIST to which all true believers belong and which acknowledges HIS divine headship, recognizes HIS presence through the HOLY SPIRIT and regulates its practices according to the Holy Scriptures, composed of many local churches in given localities, exercising self government under CHRIST’S commission to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world.

We believe that God is Spirit. JOHN 4:23, 24, EPH 4:4.

We are Founded on the Word and Empowered by the Spirit. 1 COR  3:11: “for no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ”.
